Noe Valley

An In-demand Neighborhood With San Francisco’s Sunniest Weather

Welcome to Noe Valley

Noe Valley is a neighborhood of San Francisco, California, located in the central portion of the city. Noe Valley sits amongst hills, giving it a sense of intimacy apart from the larger city. The area is well-known as a more settled down neighborhood, with fewer nightlife opportunities than most other suburbs of San Francisco.

Noe Valley is named after José de Jesús Noé, a Californio and ranchero that owned most of the land in the area. The land was sold in 1854 but was not developed until the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The neighborhood features many Victorian and Edwardian-style homes and is known for having one of the highest concentrations of row houses in San Francisco.
